Hyderabad: A simple promotional event in Hyderabad on Sunday evening turned into chaos in no time. As soon as actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu came out of the venue, the crowd present there pounced on her. The situation became so bad that they had to take the help of security personnel to get out.

Why did Samantha reach there?

Samantha had come to attend the inauguration of a store. After the program was over, people suddenly started moving forward while coming out. Someone wanted photos, someone was making a video, and someone was just trying to come closer and see them.

How bad were the conditions on the spot?

The videos that have surfaced clearly show that the crowd had gone out of control. The path was narrow, and people were constantly pushing forward. The security personnel are seen slowly taking Samantha to the car, holding her from both sides. Many times it seemed that if even one step was missed, the situation could have worsened.

How did Samantha handle herself in all this chaos?

The situation was not easy, but Samantha kept herself calm. No anger, no reaction. She continued moving forward with the security personnel without saying anything. Even after this incident, she has not given any statement.

Why was there anger among the people?

As soon as the video went viral, there was anger on social media. Many people said that it is not wrong to have attachment to an artist, but to surround and push like this is extremely irresponsible. The question also arose as to why the organizers did not make advance arrangements to handle the crowd.

Is this the first time such a scene has happened?

A few days ago, actress Nidhi Agarwal was also stuck in a similar situation. She had reached an event to promote her film 'The Raja Saab,' where she too was taken out from the huge crowd.

What did the police do in Nidhi Agarwal's case?

After the Nidhi incident, the Kukatpally Housing Board police had suo motu registered a case against the mall management and the event organizers. Even at that time the question was raised as to why the security arrangements were inadequate.

What do two consecutive incidents indicate?

These incidents that happened with two actresses within a span of a few days have raised a clear question. Is security still being taken lightly at public events with big faces? And is the responsibility of the organizers limited only to gathering crowds?
